
What do Casey Harrison and Mica Baxter have in common?
Apparently pretty much everything. Having known each other since high school, the two peas in a pod, long-time friends and business partners, are a couple in every way but one. That line hasn’t been crossed, due to Casey's industrial strength walls, and set in stone conviction, against becoming romantically involved with a friend.

It is said that getting there is half the fun, and that adage is certainly true about Casey and Mica's journey to their paradise island and, just maybe, something more. Will the two self-described 'unluckiest people in the world', be able to overcome all the obstacles, real and perceived, that stand in the way of their happy ever after? Only time and fortune, will be able to tell in this romantic comedy.
Although I like to use humor to balance more serious topics or situations in my writing, MATCH ME is my first effort at writing a lesfic romantic comedy. The two main characters start as friends and travel a bumpy road to happiness as they navigate that tricky transition from friends to lovers.
In the story, the whole spray tan fiasco and subsequent plane trip to Key West wrapped like a mummy was fodder for some very humorous plot lines. Think of the Friends TV series and Ross' spray tan, but worse.
Two secrets: some of the grandmother's comments in the story are based on my mother's experiences when she was in a nursing home. I had fun naming some of the characters after people in my 'real' life.
