Victoria Brannigham had a guilty pleasure. Every day she would take a detour, sit on the boardwalk, and wait. She tried not to covet what could never be hers.

Beverly McMannis was lonely, until she discovered another lesbian on the island. Bev eagerly embraced the growing friendship with her neighbor.

Victoria was honest with Bev right from the start, explaining that she wasn't free to explore their attraction. Bev promised to honor the boundaries.

Love isn't always easy, sometimes it's complicated...especially when she doesn't know you're still being faithful.

Author's Note: I wrote this story while spending summers at the Jersey shore. The cover design with the three seagulls, with one of the seagulls fading away into the sunset, is representative of the three women in the story. Like the one gull, one of the characters is, in a way, fading from the main character's life.

Although it is a sad tale for a number of reasons, it is equally humorous and uplifting. I hope you will enjoy Victoria's journey to true happiness and freedom from guilt. This book has been the subject of several notes from readers, some praising my taking on the subject matter, and others critical for bringing back Bernie from a prior book. As the story creator, it is so interesting and rewarding to see how deeply invested some readers become in the stories.
